DICYANDINAMIDE RESIN (DECOLORING AGENT)
Dicyandinamide resin is a synthetic cationic that can partially or totally replace inorganic and organic coagulants in the clarification treatment of industrial effluents containing super-colloidal suspensions such as colour.
DEC as particularly effective as a decolouring agent for industrial effluents containing residual natural or synthetic dyes such as textile industry wastewater.
Its high cationic charge density also makes DEC an effective dye-fixing agent in textile and paper production.
